Jack A. Fattal is a partner at Lavian LLP, focused on all aspects of corporate transactions, including real estate transactions and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Having served as General Counsel at Soho Properties, a Manhattan-based real estate development and investment firm, with upwards of $750 million AUM, as well as at a global Japanese private equity fund, Jack brings to the firm significant in-house real estate, M&A and commercial expertise.
Jack has also advised clients in a range of private and publicly held companies, as well as financial sponsors and lenders across varied industries, including real estate development, land banking, hospitality operations, hospitality technology, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, retail, e-commerce and franchises.
In addition, Jack has represented PE funds in connection with asset acquisitions and restructuring of portfolio investments. He routinely handles matters involving M&A, financial restructuring (+ securities), joint ventures, divestitures, carve-out transactions, corporate governance and general corporate counseling.
Jack has strong leadership abilities, project management and organizational skills, having developed an innate sense for the client’s commercial concerns and priorities.
